Help with YoMeal — how it works, managing your subscription, and how to reach us directly.
Type or speak a description of what you ate on the home tab (for example, "two eggs and a slice of toast"). YoMeal identifies the food items and calculates the calories and macros automatically.
If the description doesn't clearly describe any food (for example a test message, or something too vague), YoMeal will ask you to try rephrasing it rather than guessing. Try being specific about quantities and food names, e.g. "one cup of rice" instead of "some rice."
No. YoMeal doesn't require sign-up — it works from the moment you open the app. Your data is tied to a private identifier generated on your device, not to a name or email address.
Free accounts can log a limited number of meals per day and view a limited amount of history. Premium removes these daily limits and adds AI-generated coaching comments on your meals and daily progress toward your goal.
Subscriptions are purchased and managed entirely through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) — YoMeal never processes your payment details directly. To cancel or change your subscription:
YoMeal estimates nutrition using public food databases and AI-assisted food identification, so results are approximate rather than lab-precise — particularly for homemade or unusual dishes. If something looks clearly wrong, let us know what you logged and the values you received so we can look into it.
Fill in your profile (gender, height, weight, goal, and activity level) on the profile tab. YoMeal calculates a personalized daily calorie and macro target from that information — it's entirely optional.
Email us at emadeddintabbaa@gmail.com and we'll remove the data associated with your device. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we store.
We'd love to hear it — email us with as much detail as possible (what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead) at emadeddintabbaa@gmail.com.
